What is Life Cover?
Life Cover provides a lump sum payment or benefit amount which is paid to your nominated beneficiary/s in the event of your death or if you have been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Why might you need life cover?
The majority of us will experience the big events in life. Things such as marriage, children and buying that first home to name a few.
However, for some the passing of a loved one will come unexpectedly, often as a complete surprise.
While it’s impossible for anyone to prepare for the emotional stress and grief brought about by the loss of a loved one, having inadequate “on call finance” should the worst happen can have a devasting, long term impact on those you’ve left behind.
Examples of what Life Cover is used for.
The decision on how best to disburse the payment is that of the beneficiary/s, and many look to reduce or eliminate existing debt such as the mortgage, personal loans and credit cards as well as provide for an ongoing regular income stream.
